3s Curriculum
Holy Redeemer’s Three Year-Old Program is designed to nurture the spiritual, emotional, social, and intellectual growth of every child. The 3s program provides a safe, nurturing, creative, and stimulating environment that inspires children to learn in social, cooperative, and independent settings. The responsive classroom environment strives to meet the individual needs of the whole child while placing an emphasis on school readiness and developing life skills. Fine and large motor skills are developed through meaningful work and play experiences that extend their conceptual learning. The children’s learning environment is equipped with tools that foster their ability to explore and investigate their surroundings through rich visual clues. Moreover, the curriculum allows the child to make real-life connections with their family and other social experiences through literature, play, music and movement, and thematic instruction. Basic concepts of Pre-Reading and Math and Science are integrated throughout the year using Developmentally Appropriate Practices. Most of all, the HR 3s classroom provides a rich Catholic faith and community experience through relationships, Bible and Saint stories, crafts, and other chapel activities.
