"The world offers you comfort. But you were not made for comfort. You were made for greatness."
- Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI
HOLY REDEEMER CATHOLIC SCHOOL VALUE-THEMED 4C'S
"Where caring makes a difference."
Courtesy
I know when to say: Please, Thank You, You're Welcome, and other respectful nicities. I can stand in a straight and quiet line. I can raise my hand to talk. I can listen and follow directions. I respect everyone's Circle of Grace.
Compassion
I will put other's needs ahead of my own. I will accept others as they are.
I will always respect other's feelings, opinions, and differences. I will always thank God for all that I have.
Commitment
I will do my work with the full amount of effort required. I will have a positive attitude about myself and others. I will respect the property of the school, others, and my own. I will respect arrival times, class time, and assignment deadlines.
Community
I will include others. I will support my community by encouraging others. I will respectfully represent Holy Redeemer in and out of school. I will donate my time to community services.
Our vibrant, Catholic pre-kindergarten through eighth grade school works to build a Christ-centered community characterized by courtesy, compassion, and commitment. At each grade level, students explore developmentally appropriate ways to act with courtesy, show compassion, demonstrate commitment, and serve the community.
The 4 C's inform teaching across the curriculum and serve as behavioral standards throughout school life. The power of surrounding our children with this shared message is only surpassed by the power of prayer. Together, we are striving to build up our community, providing our children with every opportunity to develop spirituality in a community "Where caring makes a difference."
